Dental Implants

Implants are a permanent solution used to replace missing teeth.

Implants are a type of metal anchor (titanium rawlplug) that are gently and precisely placed in the jaw bone where the teeth are missing. Once these rawlplugs are set into place we can construct and fix teeth on top of them, this way we do not need to file down your other good teeth. Furthermore, the ‘implant supported teeth’ work just like real teeth and have excellent aesthetics.

With implants you can have a single replacement tooth, several replacement teeth or even a full jaw of replacement teeth. If your bone quality is very good it is possible to place implants and restore them on the same day. To ensure patient safety, prior to treatment we scan your jaw using a low dose CT scanning machine which provides a 3D image of your jaw and allows for perfect planning prior to placement of the implants.
